Leslie Lam, a native of the DFW metropolitan area, holds a BFA in Visual Art Studies from the University of North Texas (2018) and an MFA in Intermedia/Sculpture from Texas Woman's University (2021).
As a sculptor and intermedia artist, Leslie works with various materials including metals, foam, digital 3D design, photography, video, and other 2D media. Her focus lies in exploring how science-fiction and otherworldiness intersect with the natural world. In 2022, Leslie's transition into motherhood significantly influenced her artistic direction, which continues to incorporate elements of nature and science-fiction. She currently serves as the DP IB Digital Design teacher at Uplift Williams Preparatory High School in Dallas, mentoring students in digital media, ranging from photography to 3D printing. |
